Reverse: Crowned shield within filleted laurel wreath, rose, shamrock and thistle spray below.
As issued in sets, and a beautiful example indeed: deep purple, blue and gold iridescent tones with mirrored fields, with subtle but pleasant frosted portrait. Very choice and very rare as only about 300 were minted, one of the finest to survive.
